About Matt
Matt Perry is the Lead Pastor of Love Church, a church plant he launched in San Diego, California in 2026. Born outside Los Angeles and raised in Southern California, Matt was adopted as a child, with birth parents from India — a story of grace that shapes how he shepherds others.
With 16 years in ministry, including time at some of the most influential churches in the country, Matt is passionate about the local church, discipling people in their walk with Jesus, preaching the Word, and helping leaders take their next step. He also loves building systems that help churches run well and reach their cities.
Beyond the pulpit, Matt hosts the leadership podcast LeaderSwift and founded The Church CMO, helping churches grow their reach through digital marketing and communications. Matt is a husband to Brianna and father to their two daughters, Ava and Ella.
